P3a worked in pairs to create a monster that was symmetrical. We discussed what symmetry means before choosing some 2d shapes to create a monster with our partners. We used a ruler as our line of symmetry. It was fun.

Comments Off on Measuring in P4
P4 learned how to measure using a measuring tape today. We spoke about who would need to use a measuring tape as part of their job (fasion designer) and then we measured parts of our body.
It was a lot of fun! 😆

Comments Off on Afternoon break for P4!
Last week Primary 4 wrote letters to Miss Gillies to persuade her to allow the class an afternoon break. With strong arguments and lots of persuasive language, she agreed!
We had lots of fun! Maybe we could persuade her to give us more afternoon breaks……😉

Comments Off on FREE ONLINE PANTOMIME – CINDERELLA & THE BEANSTALK
We wanted to let you know that The Stand Comedy Club are bringing a FREE online pantomime via YouTube this year to help bring some festive cheer to everyone during this most challenging year.
This show link https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mBj_tzgpFZMwill will be live from Sunday 20th December at 3pm and available to watch until the 17th January. We are aware that many children will normally have visited a theatre to see a panto with family. We wanted to provide an opportunity for everyone this year to still access something fun and festive.
Cinderella & The Beanstalk
The Stands Newcastle panto regular team of Hal Branson, Hannah Walker, Lee Kyle and Sammy Dobson are back with an updated live family friendly panto and it’s FREE! Join the action live on Sunday 20th December at 3pm. The show will then be available to watch until January 17th 2021.
We couldn’t let you have a panto-free Christmas now would we!
This show has been made possible with a funding grant to the performers from Arts Council England. The production and filming of the show has been kindly sponsored by Browell Smith & Co
Please spread the word and remind people that this is free to watch.
