Today, P4 mummified their own tomato.
They scooped out the insides and dried it off before sanitising and covering it in salt and bicarbonate of soda.
Before we covered it in salt we measured the mass of the tomato and will do this again after 14 days to see what happens to the mass. Some children thought the tomato would be lighter, some thought it would be heavier. A couple thought the mass would remain the same.

P4 worked with their partner to design their own shaduf. After testing to see if it worked, they altered their design to make them more effective.
Can we remind all families again that we are requesting that one adult collects their child/children from school and maintains a 2m social distance from others. Any discussions with staff should be via telephone after school.
