We have been busy outdoors this week with numeracy and our IDL topic RSPB. We were working on our tables for numeracy and we created kebab and apple bird feeders for our RSPB topic. We also joined an online lesson with Codealong with Code Club that helped us to create a ghost game on the Scratch app.

P5a are making the most of the good weather this week by going outside for Numeracy and Orienteering. We had a multiplication duel. We also had to find all the clues in our orienteering lesson.

P5a used hopscotch grids to learn their multiplication tables.

While the weather has been good, P5a took their learning outdoors this week. This included a birdwatch linked to our topic and practising four different strategies for addition.

P5a did some outdoor learning between the August rain. We were learning all about place value in the playground.

P5a had a brilliant time with Kerry and Karen from the GAMTA theatre company. We sang and danced and had a lot of fun.

P5a tried to beat the rain by building a waterproof den that would keep us dry. Some of us were more successful than others.

P5a were outside learning how to match time cards. We had a digital clock, an analogue clock and a card with the words of the time. Then we played a new version of the clock in the tower.
