- Watch the video on ‘oo’ phonemes – its a bit of fun and may help you learn some spellings for Friday’s test. I’ll be testing a different 15 words, from the five ‘oo’ representations.

Compound words – ask an adult to choose 6 of your best compound words from your list made during yesterday’s lesson, and write a sentence for each.
-if you missed the lesson, remember a compound word is a longer word made from joining two smaller words, such as playtime, lunchbox, earthquake, rainbow… -

Pic 1 – Add the correct sentence ending to their beginnings.
Extension for Apples and Oranges – use the sentence beginnings and write an appropriate, different ending for each that is still true.
