This afternoon in literacy we are working on antonyms and synonyms. Antonyms are words opposite in meaning to another and synonyms are words with the same meaning as another. Everyone should read through the PowerPoint below, then find the tasks for your group. The Dahl’s and Morpurgo’s will work on the same task, The Blyton’s will work on a different task, and The Wilson’s will also have a different task. When you finish your tasks, please go on a vocabulary hunt using your novel and change some of the words for synonyms or antonyms.
