Today we are going to read a story during our live lesson called ‘Dear Zoo’ by Rod Campbell. You can listen to the story again using the link below.
Activity
Think of a pet you would like from the zoo. Your pet could be an animal from the story or your favourite animal. Draw a picture your new pet and write a sentence beginning with ‘ I went to the zoo and I got a ________’.
Think about what your animal looks like, what it will eat, where it will live and what it will do. You could make up a story about your pet and tell someone in your family.
