We are delighted to announce that our school has been awarded Green Acorn recognition for our work in developing Learning for Sustainability in the following areas:
- Developing Commitment to Sustainability
- Developing Rights Based Learning
- Taking Learning Outdoors
Sustainability is something that the staff and pupils are all passionate about at Hillington Primary and it is fantastic to see our efforts and hard work recognised.Our Pupil Eco Committee have been instrumental in driving forward the Learning for Sustainability Agenda this year and we want to thank them for their hard work and dedication. We will be attending an Awards Ceremony at the Trades House Glasgow in June to celebrate this achievement.
