Family Fun with Crafts and Stories contains three sets of materials, for Primary One/Two; Primary Three/Four; and Primary Five to Seven.

Each pack contains six family learning workshops which build parents/carers confidence in supporting their child’s learning around the themes of creativity, storytelling and reading for enjoyment.

Each session includes story time and craft activities around a popular book such as ‘We’re Going on a Bear Hunt’ for Primary One, or ‘The Hobbit’ for Primary Five to Seven.

The sessions have proven very popular with parents, children and staff alike, and have been delivered very successfully as an initial family engagement project, with parents being keen to progress onto taking part in a regular family book club or other groups.

The pack contains all the materials you need to plan, monitor and evaluate this family learning.
