Dear Parents and Carers,

I am delighted to be Head Teacher here at Battlefield Primary and to welcome you to our school. I look forward to working with everyone in our school community in the years to come. We have such a diverse school community in which different languages, cultures and religions learn together supported by our caring and inclusive ethos.

We are a friendly, caring school with high expectations for all our pupils. Our children are encouraged to explore, discover and question through a range of exciting learning opportunities both within and outside the classroom. We strive to encourage every child to develop their personality, talents, mental and physical abilities and to equip them with the skills, knowledge and confidence to succeed in our ever-changing world.  The staff endeavour to provide a nurturing and stimulating environment where good behaviour and mutual respect is modelled by everyone and where everyone is valued.

We believe strongly that ‘what you think matters!’ and will regularly consult with our pupils, parents, carers and the wider school community to empower everyone to determine our next steps for improvement.
