We have been learning about 3D shapes. The boys and girls in Primary 2 and Primary 3/2 are to use their knowledge of 3D shapes to make their very own 3D shape robot using junk materials. 3D Shape Robots are due in on Thursday the 22nd of September. Here are some examples of some 3D shape robots.
Please remember to return reading books and reading markers/diaries to school every day. Pupils read their books in class on a daily basis and need the books to help them complete tasks linked to their reading book.
In Primary 2 we have started using a new literacy resource for our phonics and spelling. We have started to use magnetic boards to help us learn our new sounds. We have been working hard to learn and apply our new rule when using our magnetic boards – SAY, MAKE/BREAK, BLEND, READ AND WRITE. Parents and guardians will be able to find out more about our new spelling and phonics programme
Just a reminder to all parents and carers. Please make sure that all pupils clothing and belongings are clearly labelled with their name and class. We have already had some items found without names. It is hard to trace their owners without a name label. Thank you for your continued support.
