Today, Primary 6 a&b performed an assembly about slavery and discrimination in front of the school and visiting parents. This was our topic for term 2. We sang two songs that were about discrimination, ‘If I had a hammer’ and ‘Something inside so strong’. The songs made us think about how we should treat each other fairly. Pupils from primary 6a and 6b took part in an athletics heat at Springburn Academy. We took part in various events such as, the under/over relay, javelin, 4×1 lap relay, speed bounce, long jump and more. We all had fun and finished in 2nd place, qualifying for the finals in December!!! Well done everyone!!
