Go Run for Fun!

Last Friday P7 and p6 took part in a Fun Run at Robroyston park. It was a mile long and there was lots of different schools there. We met an athlete who had competed in the Commonwealth Games and had won a bronze medal. It was tiring but good fun, and lovely to cheer each other on.

This week we solved harder equations in maths such as 2x+ 2 = 12   2x=10  x=5.  Most of us found it tricky at the start but we persevered and managed to complete lots of questions on it.

We have been learning about Martin Luther King Jnr during our 60s topic because he made a very famous speech called I have a Dream in 1963. After watching his speech we created out own speeches based on our dreams.

Morgan and Alesha had a fantastic day visiting Bishopbriggs Academy in preparation for high school!

Logan and Scot  enjoyed playing rounder outside the best this week.
Aimee enjoyed writing her own speech the best.

Have a good weekend everyone!
