Thank you to all of the parents who came along to see our art exhibition last week. We are trying to get the video the children made turned into a smaller file so we can upload it for you, so watch this space!
The children have been given the First Minister’s Maths Challenge, please encourage them to do this at home…it looks fun!
School closes at 2.30pm on Thursday for the Christmas holidays.
If you need anything for the holidays just let us know. Have a lovely Christmas season and we will see you all in the New Year!
Kind Regards,
Mrs Pattie and Miss Brooks
Primary 4 have a Maths worksheet for homework, on addition of hundreds, tens and units numbers. This is due in tomorrow.
For Science homework, the children of P4 can choose one or all of the following activities, related to their work in Science on the subject of sound.
- Ask them to sit outdoors, listen to and write down the different sounds produced during a 10-minute period.
- Make a simple musical instrument from junk materials, bring it into school and play it to demonstrate vibrations.
- Research how vibrations are made to create sounds in a selection of instruments. They can write a report about this and include some pictures. This Science homework is due in next Monday 9th Dec.
