Day 14- let’s go again, P3.

Hello and good morning to you.  I’m missing you all so much.  Today I want all of you to give someone a big hug for no reason.  I can guarantee it’ll make their day better.  The 7th of May is a very special day for me, can anyone guess why????

That’s right, it’s my birthday!  This will definitely be one of the strangest birthday celebrations I’ve ever had.  My plan is to have a picnic in my garden, then go for a lovely walk in the park with Sam and Owen and finally, have a BBQ for our dinner.  I’ll also talk to my mum, dad and my two big sisters (who I’m missing loads) on Zoom.  Hope you all have a lovely day!

Task 1: Literacy, the final tasks for The Great Realisation.  Hope you’re enjoying studying this amazing film and poem.

Task 2: History: Tomorrow is VE Day.  Watch this film to find out why it’s such an important day in history.  Even though it happened 75 years ago, we can still learn lots from it.

consider of these questions and talk about them with your family:

1. How do you think it felt to finally end the war?
2. What would be the first thing you would have done when the war ended?
3. Can you think of similarities between war and our current lockdown? (food, friendships, restrictions of movement etc)

Task 3: Numeracy: Number Facts

    1. Thank you, Haadiya! Lovely to hear from you. I had a lovely birthday, I went out for a walk in the park with the my family. Owen and Sam had a surprise birthday party that involved dancing, playing games and a BBQ! Not bad for a lockdown birthday. Hope you and Khadija are doing well, miss you all so much. Mr Corrigan
