Good morning Class 2 💛

Here is your PATHS themed scavenger hunt to complete today –

There may be a point for the person who does the most activities from this today 🙂 Will anybody be able to do them all???? 🤔

Remember this is your last full week of work so I’m looking to give points to people who are working hard on the rest of the work you have in your home school packs, finishing off as much as you can.

Group A visit to school

Today was very exciting! The children who will be in Group A of Class 2 after the summer were in school this morning to chat a bit about what this will be like and get to know each other a bit better 🙂

Group B will be doing the same on Thursday, so I’m very excited about that too!

Ross and Subhan added their handprints to the Welcome to Class 2 wall which will soon have all 8 of the children in our class next year 💛

Your work

Subhan was the only person who completed maths worksheets today so he earned 3 bonus points, well done Subhan!

 

Aiyub started the mega Maths Challenge on Sumdog

 

Subhan completed 4 worksheets on addition and also completed almost half of the Mega Challenge on Sumdog – loads of maths learning today 😊

Weekend photos

Kit had a fun weekend visiting Ross, making some more yummy naan bread, had a nice Sunday cycle with his mum, a visit from Haggis and joined in a family quiz on FaceTime

Hector wrote his news in his jotter not only once but twice! I’m so impressed he had such a great growth mindset and was willing to try again to make sure it was his best work, what a star 🌟

Huzaifa sent all his work for the week today and has been doing loads of maths work on time, multiplication and negative numbers, completing his comprehension booklet and doing lots of his phonics worksheets

Aiyub did a ticking text comprehension exercise and made a rocket

Hector created this fab penguin from this morning’s blog task and did some research into the differences between UK ans US firefighter equipment 

Kit read his book on Bug Club and did some maths on Sumdog

Last night Ivo and his family were very excited to have a MacDonalds takeaway treat -yum! 🙂

Hector completed this fantastic bit of work researching and recording the facts he found out about karate and also drew an equally fantastic drawing to go with it, well done! 🙂

Subhan was karate crazy today too! – doing a super job working on his karate moves with his dad outside and he also did some research before writing out these interesting facts about karate, well done!

Thursday is normally the day we enjoy karate in Class 2 so your tasks today are to –

1. have a go at some of your karate moves in your house or garden, if you can, and take some photos (careful not to hurt your parents who will not be as used to your strength as David!!!)

2. to research and record 2 facts about karate to send to me
