Wednesday 11^th – School and Nursery closed to children for inservice day – our PSAs will be sharing good practice, our Teachers will be working approaches to feedback and tracking and the pedagogy of digital learning. Our EYOs will be working of self evaluation and development of universal strategies to support learners.

During Late February, you will have the chance to sign up for your Parent’s Evening Appointment. Look out for the link coming home around 16^th. If you don’t sign up, you will be allocated a slot.

Week Beginning 16^th – P7 Residential Trip to Dalguise

Monday 2^nd – Learning Partnership Visit – each year we invite other headteachers and education officers into school to support our self-evaluation work. This year the focus will be upon our development of a maths strategy. There will be opportunities for parents to come in and share their views. More information will follow but if you are interested, please save the date.

Tuesday 3^rd – P1-7 Parents Evening 5-7pm

Thursday 5^th – World Book Day. Please wear uniform. All children will take part in peer learning with a different age group.

Thursday 5^th – P1-7 Parents Evening 4-6pm

Wednesday 18^th – P1-7 Parents Evening 5.30-7.30pm

Wednesday 25^th  – Sponsored Run – All spectators welcome – P1-3 at 10am, ​P4&5 1.30pm and ​P6&7 at 2.15pm. Pupil Council will choose the charity nearer the time. Children should come to school wearing running kit and trainers – no need for uniform.

Tuesday 31^st  – P7-S1 Madras – first transition day – children travel and attend with Wormit Staff

Thursday 2^nd – Last Day of Term 3 – Spring Service at Wormit Church at 9.30am. All P1-7 children will attend with their teacher unless you contact the school office to opt them out. All parents are welcome – please fill up the pews from the back. Nursery parents are welcome to bring their child if they want and then drop them off at nursery afterwards. Let the staff know they will be in late so that their lunch can be ordered.

Friday 3^rd April – Friday 17^th – School and Nursery closed for Spring Holiday

Monday 20^th – First day of term 4

All P1-7 children will work on the Theme of the Commonwealth Games in the first two weeks of term

Monday 4^th – School and Nursery closed for May Holiday

Tuesday 5^th and Wednesday 6^th – Open Afternoons – 3.15-4pm – all families invited into school to see the Commonwealth Games Displays

Thursday 7^th – School and Nursery closed to children for inservice day – our PSAs and Teachers will be working self-evaluation and School Improvement Planning. Our EYOs will be working on report writing and enhanced Child Protection Training.

Friday 8^th – No uniform day – contribute £1.50 if you can with monies raised going to school fund.

Friday 8^th – P4-7 House Quiz. Theme – Commonwealth Games – many of the questions will be made up from the displays of learning around the school to encourage the children to engage with them on their tour of the school in class time and if they come to the Open Afternoons with family members.

Monday 1^st  – School and Nursery closed for June Holiday

Tuesday 9^th – P1-7 Sports Afternoon – spectators welcome. If it rains, the back up is Thursday 11th.

Tuesday 16^th -Thursday 18^th – P7 – S1 Madras Transition Days – children get school bus and follow their S1 timetable – Wormit staff do not attend

Wednesday 24th  – 10am – Nursery Sports  – spectators welcome. If it rains, the back up is Thursday or Friday also at 10am.

Wednesday 24th – 6.30pm – P7 Show, each family can have 3 members attend. Nur-P6 children will see the show in school time.

Friday 3^rd – Last Day of Term 3 – End of Year Service, House Cup Presentation and P7 farewell at Wormit Church at 9.30am.
