Anti-Racism

We are proud to introduce the members of St. Leonard’s brand new Anti-Racism Clun!  These dedicated pupils have volunteered their time and energy to work together in making our school an even more inclusive and respectful place for everyone.  There’s lots of important work ahead, but the enthusiasm and commitment of this group is already inspiring.

We are proud to celebrate the amazing diversity in our school!  Our pupils and families speak many different languages, and together we create one school, many voices.  This video showcases the richness of our community as our pupils say “hello” in many languages.

Our Anti-Racism Club has been making a powerful impact across the school community. Through open and honest conversations, members have bravely shared their personal experiences of racism, helping to raise awareness and foster empathy among their peers and staff. Their recent assembly on skin colour sparked important discussions about identity and inclusion. They have been looking at our school library and we are looking to improve diversity in the range of books we have.
