At St Leonard’s, all children and staff belong to a ‘House’.
Every House has a Primary 7 House Captain, and two Vice-Captains. Primary 7 pupils have the opportunity to campaign to become House Captain before being elected by the children in their House through a closed vote at the start of each academic year.

Children can earn House Points by being Ready to Learn, Keeping it Green and by going Over and Above. Points are awarded for showing respect to one another and to adults in school, and children can win House Points for demonstrating the Playground High Five at break and lunch times.
The House system encourages a real sense of pride in achievement as well as fostering a strong belief in teamwork. It promotes community spirit, giving the children an opportunity to contribute to something positive that involves children from all year groups.
