St Leonard’s Nursery

Nursery is all about exploration, discovery, active learning and being creative, in other words the children are ‘Learning by Doing’.
At St. Leonard’s Nursery we aim to:
  •  to inspire a love of learning by providing a rich and stimulating curriculum, while ensuring high quality learning and teaching experiences for all learners.
  • to ensure that progress in learning and achieving success is achievable through an equitable approach, by giving every learner the resources and opportunities they need to achieve full academic and social goals.
  • to provide a welcoming and nurturing environment which enables every child to achieve success and where achievements are celebrated.
  • to equip children with skills for life and for the future through developing a positive attitude to learning and encouraging qualities of resilience and perseverance.
  • to work in partnership with parents, across the wider community and with partner agencies.

St Leonard’s is a nut free school and nursery, and we ask that children do not bring in snacks that contain nuts.
