The Community Hub is a pupil-led project supporting our school community while giving children the opportunity to develop valuable skills, take responsibility and work as a team.
Our team members this year are Ryan, Mason E, Riley, Ollie, Patryk and Amelia.
What is happening in our Hub?
🥣 Breakfast Boxes
Pupils organise and deliver breakfast snacks to classes every second week, making sure children have something available if they are hungry.
👕 Swap Shop
Our free Swap Shop gives families the opportunity to donate and access items such as school uniform, clothing and seasonal items. Pupils help organise the shop and practise their communication and teamwork skills.
🛒 Food Larder – coming soon!
We are currently preparing our Food Larder, which we hope to open soon. The aim is to provide free food and household items for families in our school community. We are working hard to build links with organisations and businesses to help make this possible.
Learning along the way
The Hub gives our pupils real-life opportunities to develop communication, collaboration, leadership, organisation and problem-solving skills. They also use their creativity and ICT skills to make posters, videos and other resources to promote the Hub.
Our pupils are proud to be making a difference and helping to create a kind, supportive and sustainable school community.
