Why Play?

Play promotes creativity, wonder, risk taking, collaboration, interpretation, and reinterpretation. Its meaning is infinite, and its importance cannot and must not be ignored. Play naturally creates high level engagement in learning which leads to high level attainment. Play and playfulness enable the ‘soft skills’ like respect, thoughtfulness, kindness, application, self-drive and creativity to develop which will define our culture through the years. Play creates the conditions for children to test the world, to make sense of it, to grow the skills needed to communicate, to negotiate and express their inner selves.
