Play-Based Moderation Cycle

The Moderation Cycle emphasises ‘moderation’ is not something that should be done to the end product only. We need to moderate all aspects of the learning, teaching and assessment process. Therefore, developing a shared understanding of standards and expectations when considering a play-based approach is good practice.

Edinburgh City Council have kindly shared a Play-Based Moderation Cycle. It can be used as a starting point in your Play journey – play-based moderation cycle
