Why?

When considering the balance of the day within a play-based context, we must first consider the 3 approaches to learning: Child Initiated, Adult Initiated, Adult Directed. Each Approach has a different purpose and all three approaches must be valued throughout the day/week.

The balance of this will very much depend on your children. It will be affected by the needs of your learners, the age of your learners, the point in the year, whether you are in a composite or multi-composite class.
