The Moderation Cycle is designed for use by practitioners to support their understanding of moderation, learning, teaching and assessment. Engaging in the moderation process with colleagues will assist practitioners in arriving at valid and reliable decisions on learners’ progress towards, and achievement of, a level. Consequently, this resource will support the consistency of teachers’ professional judgement, both locally and nationally.
