This week we have worked together to share our learning at a celebration of all things Scottish with our parents and families. This is included Scottish dances, poems and songs and information about the life of Robert Burns. We even had a toast to the lassies and a reply to the laddies. We enjoyed making shortbread for everyone to enjoy. We are very proud of the contribution everyone made to this event.

In writing, we have worked hard to edit our imaginative stories and we worked closely with a friend to self and peer assess and set targets to improve.

We have been developing our skills in time, including world times and timetables in Numeracy this week.

In our topic of WW2, we have been carrying out individual research into the different counties involved and choosing how to share our learning. We will present this to the whole class.

We are participating in the HMS Unicorn Sea Art Competition and developing our own ideas around the brief.

We enjoyed a visit from Eiliyah’s Mum to teach us about her work in Microbiology and we enjoyed conducting experiments as part of our learning in Science.

All pupils attended their chosen skills academy today too.
