This week we have started our learning around WW2. We have explored what we know already and what we would like to learn about in this topic. We have learned about evacuation and have created our pieces of imaginative writing about an evacuee. We also created portrait pieces of art showing tone and shade of our evacuee.

In Drama, we have worked together on scripted drama around WW2 and are developing our presenting skills.

This week in Numeracy, we have been learning about different types of bars and charts in data handling.

We have explored the theme of kindness in Health and how to make amends with others.

In PE, we have been developing our skills in Scottish Dance and in Gymnastics.

We have enjoyed reading our class novel Goodnight Mr Tom and have carried out a character study.

With our buddies, we have explored properties of materials in our playground as we continue to work towards our John Muir Award.
