Well done to a group of P5s that represented our School at the Fife Cross Country event on Thursday in Kirkcaldy. They all did very well and pushed themselves to do their best.
In class, we have been learning about adaptation as part of our Biodiversity topic and worked well with others to create presentations to share to our peers. We have started to explore different types of habitats.
We have continued to develop our skills in writing a newspaper report and our use of puns, openers and catchy vocabulary. We continue to develop our handwriting skills.
In our Maths work, we have been learning about different types of angles and measuring angles. We are working hard at improving our speed and accuracy in mental maths. We created angle inspired artwork.
In PE, we enjoyed playing field games and also having a go at some of the races for the upcoming Sports Day. We have continued to develop our cycling skills in Bikeability.
We have been working hard at vocabulary for food and drinks in French.
We have started creating our personal presentations to share with others. We have each been given a country participating in the World Cup and need to persuade others to go to this country and how they will perform at the World Cup.
We enjoyed designing games in our Loose Parts play for others to enjoy.
