Dress Down Day (Mrs Steedman)
The charity that we are going to be collecting for this term is called Mary’s Meals, this is an incredible charity that focus on feeding hungry children. They feed over 3 million children every day in over 16 countries. The S4 Early Learning and Childcare classes have been doing work to gain the schools bronze award with this charity so the money raised from the dress down day will be donated to them. If you want more information about this charity have a look at the posters around the school that the classes have made. Please can you bring £1 or whatever you can afford to help this amazing cause. Your period 1 teacher will collect the money from you.
S6 House Captains (Mrs Young)
Can all s6 who have applied to be a house captain please check the year group team to check if they have an interview and if so the time. All interviews are Monday and Tuesday and successful candidates will find out on Wednesday. All
Other year groups should also keep an eye on Teams for updates on house captain applications.
Battlefields Trip 2027 – New S3 only (Mr Harrower)
After the success of this year’s trip, we are looking to organise another Battlefields Trip to Belgium and France in May 2027. If you are interested, you should collect a letter from Mr Harrower in PE or Mrs Harrower in C2 and return it as soon as possible. If you would like to find out more about the trip, please come and speak to one of us at any time.
Carlyle Bronze Award – Tue 30th June (Mr Spink)
Anyone taking part in Bronze Award should report to the appropriate locations at the start of the day: PE Games, get changed at PE and meet in the big hall; film, meet in Assembly Hall; Computer Games – meet at Miss Nessel’s room. Registers will be taken – if your name is not on the list, you will be sent back to class!
S3 Artwork (Miss Crichton)
If current S3 pupils would like their artwork from S2, can they please come and collect it from their S2 art teacher before the holidays. Deadline for this is Friday 3rd July.

Lunch Club (YMCA Team)
Any Pupils who would benefit from a check in or having a space that’s a bit calmer than the lunch hall/playground please feel free to pop up for a blether and a bite (we’ve got some multigrain bars and crisps) We are located in The Insync Office, across from B25.
Futsal Club (Active School’s)
Come along to the Games Hall at lunchtime (on Tuesday’s) to join in on some Futsal.
Jewellery Club (Mrs Geissler)
A new Jewellery lunchtime club is starting on Tuesday lunchtime in room E6. We will be looking at making simple pieces of Jewellery using metals and learning processes but also using the 3D Printer and Laser Cutter too! Come along if you fancy it.
