MVP (Guidance Team)
All pupils who are signed up to train for MVP this year, please ensure you have checked the Glow Team and filled in relevant forms. We will be in the ICT hub on Thursday and the library on Friday. Please arrive prompt at the start of period 1.

Promotional graphic for Kirkcaldy High School’s production of Disney’s The Little Mermaid JR. Performances take place live in the Assembly Hall at 7pm on Wednesday 24th, Thursday 25th and Friday 26th June 2026. Ticket prices are £8 full price and £5 concessions. A sales update shows remaining ticket availability: 59% remaining for Wednesday, 50% remaining for Thursday, and 32% remaining for Friday. The design uses sea-themed illustrations including shells, a mermaid tail, starfish, fish and theatre ticket graphics.

S3 Artwork (Miss Crichton)
If current S3 pupils would like their artwork from S2, can they please come and collect it from their S2 art teacher before the holidays. Deadline for this is Friday 3rd July.

House Point Event (Mr Spink)
Carlyle Bronze Award – Tue 30th June – Anyone taking part in Bronze Award should report to the appropriate locations at the start of the day: PE Games, get changed at PE and meet in the big hall; film, meet in Assembly Hall; Computer Games – meet at Miss Nessel’s room.  Registers will be taken – if your name is not on the list, you will be sent back to class!

Definition: Posterity is a formal word that refers to all future generations of people. It is often, though not always, used with for or to.

Example:  A record of the events was preserved for posterity.

Fact:   In KHS we have a plastic recycling machine down in DET which is used to recycle old plastic and make new pieces for projects in school.
