FRIDAY 24 APRIL

Hot Meal:  Soup of the day, Cheesy Beano served with Chips and Chicken Fries all served at breaktime.

Scottish Disability Sport Cross Country (Mrs Black)
Huge congratulations to Seanine SLD, on winning the Scottish Disability Sport Cross Country senior girls category yesterday in Paisley. National Champion!

Anish also ran very well, just outside the medals but has worked very hard and should be proud of his effort.

We wanted to share their success and a lovely Friday good news story.

Instrumental Lessons (Mrs Simpson)
Due to Music exams taking place in the Music Department on Monday 27th April, there will be no access to practice rooms or classrooms during break and lunch.
Wind Band and instrumental lessons WILL still be on as normal, however please be considerate when moving around the department and avoid E10 as much as possible. Brass lessons from midday will take place in the dance studio.

S3 Army Workshop (Mrs Davidson)
We have an exciting opportunity for our S3 pupils – Tuesday 12 May, 2026! Pupils can have a day with the Army where they can speak to different Battalions and Regiments from across Scotland. It is an interactive workshop from 10am-3pm. Transport and lunch will be provided and there is no cost. If your son/daughter is interested, please ask them to add their name to the list with Ms Smith, DYW Coordinator in the Home Ec Dept. Deadline for names is Fri 24 April.

Definition:  Someone described as complaisant is willing or eager to please other people, or is easily convinced to do what other people want.

Example:  Derek was a complaisant boy, always happy to oblige whenever his mother or father asked him to run an errand.

Fact:  You can express yourself in a number of ways – orally by telling people what you think, in writing or even visually using drawings as a creative outlet to show who you are as a person.

Calling all likeminded S2 with an interest in coding. Meet in D6 every Mon. Bring your lunch. See Mr Turnbull in D6 for a pass.

Rights Respecting Schools Group (Mrs Young)
The Rights Respecting Schools group meet on a Monday lunchtime in B14.

English Second Language Club (Ms Solowczuk)
This will run on Monday lunchtime in A10.

Together We Can (Mrs Johnston)
Together we can group is now on a Monday after school from 3.30-4.15pm.

Fitness Club (Mrs Johnston)
Fitness club will be on at lunch time in the gym.

S1-S6 Basketball (Mr Stewart)
Basketball will be on After School today in the Games Hall.
