EXTENDED LEARNING PARTNERSHIP – PLEASE READ TO PUPILS (Mrs Spence)
If you have been invited to be part of a focus group today, please make sure you get a slip from your Period 1 teacher which will remind you when and where you are to go. You must register with your period teacher before making your way to meet your group. You should return to class afterwards.

Yoga for Managing Exam Stress – Senior School (Mrs Patton)
Starting after school Tuesday 25 February, 3.40pm – 4.15pm. I will be starting a yoga class for senior exam pupils where we will be focusing on how to use yoga techniques to help manage exam stress. No yoga experience is necessary and all equipment will be provided. If you want to find out more, please come and see me in B21. I will sort the room location once I have a better idea of numbers.

S1 First Chances (Dr Black)
Can all S1 First Chances pupils, please attend a short meeting at break time today in A6, about the upcoming trip.

Fife Festival of Music (Mrs Simpson)
All pupils that took part in the Fife Festival of Music as a soloist or as part of an ensemble, should come to the Assembly hall at the start of break on Wednesday 19 February.

Senior Young STEM Leaders (Miss Irvine)
Can all those who are S5/6 Young STEM Leaders and are interested in visiting Torbain Primary for British Science Week, please attend a meeting in A1 on Wednesday 19 February at lunchtime to discuss the trip. If you want to come but can’t attend the meeting please see Miss Irvine beforehand.

Article 3: Best Interests of the Child – Fact ” You have the right to have a say in all decisions that affect you. This includes your course choices that you have just been making!”

Article 27: Healthy Food – Free Food (Mrs Young)
We are trying to reduce food waste therefore can you please come along to D2 at the end of each day to make use of the free food that is available. This will include food that has been cooked in home economics as well as fresh food that needs to be used up. This will be available every day on a first come first served basis and will help make sure food does not get binned which is good for us and the environment! There is usually even more excess on a Friday so get down ASAP!

Rights Respecting Schools Group and Ambassadors (Miss Young)
Can all existing members and anyone keen to join come along to B14 and anyone who expressed interest in being an ambassador. The meeting will be about new projects coming up this year as well as discussing membership, badges and choice of meeting days (feel free to bring lunch).

Calm Colouring Club (Ms Geddes)
If you are looking for a quiet space to enjoy your lunch and do a bit of colouring, then head along to A3 from 1:10pm every Monday lunchtime.

S1-S6 Badminton (Mr Harrower)
S1-S6 Badminton in the Games Hall on a Monday from 3:30-4:15pm.

S1-S6 Basketball (Mr Stewart)
Basketball for all year groups on Monday from 3:30-4:30pm.

S1 Football (Mr Geissler)
S1 boys football training afterschool Monday from 3:30-4:15pm. Meet in the PE department.

U15 Boys Football (Mr Mooney)
U15 Football will run on Mondays after school. All welcome.

Fitness Suite Mondays (Mrs Steedman)
Every Monday lunchtime the Fitness Suite will be open to all pupils S1-S6. Grab a quick lunch and come down to use the equipment, you can do whatever workout you like, some cardio or some weights, entirely up to you!

French Study Support (Mrs Morris)
French study support for N4/5 and Higher will take place on a Monday afterschool 3:30-4:30pm in C9.

TUESDAY 18 FEBRUARY

Hot Meal: Soup of the day, Traditional Macaroni Cheese with Garlic Bread or Teriyaki Roasted Vegetables with Egg Noodles and Garlic Bread.

LGBT+ Group (Dr Murray) 🏳️‍⚧️
The LGBT+ Group meets on Tuesday lunchtime in A4 (Dr Murray’s room in Science). It is a social space open to EVERYONE whether you are Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, any other identity, or an ally of the community. See Dr Murray for a pass if you want to come. Bring your lunch!

Enterprising Maths Club (Mr Jones & Ms Barclay)
Are you a maths whiz looking for a club where you can really challenge yourself? Join our Enterprising Maths Club and tackle mind-bending problems with other students. There’s even a chance to represent the school in maths competitions, so get involved! Come to B4 every Tuesday lunchtime.

Glee Choir (Mr Wilkie)
Glee Choir will run in the Music Department on Tuesday & Wednesday lunchtime in E12..

S1-S2 Netball (Miss Johnston & Mrs Poynter)
S1-S2 will train on Tuesday night, 3:30-4:15pm.

S1-S6 Dance Club (Miss Johnston & Mrs Poynter)
Dance Club will be running for all S1-S6 after school on Tuesdays at 3:25pm.

Extra-Curricular Rugby (Mr Harrower)
After school rugby is on today for all pupils in S1-S6. Come down to the PE department straight after school.

Japanese Club (Mrs Morris)
Japanese club will run on a Tuesday afterschool 3:30-4:15pm in C9 with Mrs Morris. New members welcome.

Chemistry Study Support (Chemistry Teachers)
If you need help with any aspect of Chemistry or S1-S2 Science, at any level then Chemistry Study Support is the place to get it. One of your happy, smiling chemistry teachers will be available Tuesday 3:30-4:30pm in either of A4, A5, or A6 for all your questions, queries and conundrums. You could also simply use this as a quiet place to study, or even get that homework task completed that you’ve been putting off since the dawn of time. All welcome!
