Just behind the school is an area of ground, which was previously waste land belonging to Cambo Estate.  The Estate very kindly allowed members of the school and village community to use the land to create a community garden.  It took a lot of work to get it in the state it is now, with the help of donations and lots of fundraising.  We have ‘Work Party Days’ the 3rd Saturday of each month from Spring ’til Autumn.  The children also go to the garden to do planting and weeding as part of outdoor learning.
