Cost of Living Support

Cost of Living

Please note the following most updated information.

For Parents Claiming Universal Credit
If you have more than two children, please make sure all of them are included on your Universal Credit claim.
From May, your Universal Credit payment will increase to include a child element for all your children, as the two‑child limit ended on 6 April.
Your payment will only increase automatically if all children are already added to your claim. If any are missing, you won’t receive the extra amount until their details are added.
You can check and add children by signing in to your Universal Credit account: https://www.gov.uk/sign-in-universal-credit
Find out if you are missing out on any other entitlements by using the Fife Benefit Checker, or search for grant support via the Lightning Reach tool. You will find them both on the Cost of Living Support website.
If you are unable to access information online, the Community Support Line can help 0800 952 0330 ( Mon-Fri, 9am-5pm)
