Welcome to Area 5 with Primary 3, Mrs Hay and Mrs Gillespie

Our gym days are Wednesday and Friday. Our outdoor learning day is Monday.

In term 1 and two our topic will be the Vikings. We will be learning about where the Vikings came from, how they travelled, their daily lives and the impact they had.

In literacy, we will be learning how to use the features of personal texts and will be focusing on increasing our independence in writing these texts. In reading, we will be learning to select information from a text to answer a question.

In numeracy, our main focus will be place value. We will be learning to compare and order numbers as well as investigating the value of digits in a number.
