National 4 Media

In Media Studies you will:

  • Study a wide range of media – Film, Television, Social Media, Print media
  • Analyse using the six key concepts of media studies
  • Create your own media, using skills you have learned through analysis
  • Recognise the key roles of those working in media, and carry out these roles in creating your own project
  • Understand the role of media in our society

To study this subject you should:

  • Have already achieved, National 4 or National 5 English
  • Want to further develop skills in communication, analysis, psychology, or creativity
