In Higher English you will:

  • Develop key communication and literacy skills through reading, writing, talking and listening
  • Understand, analyse and evaluate a wide range of texts across language, literature and the media, including Scottish texts
  • Create and produce detailed texts of different types

To study this subject you should:

  • Be studying at, or have already passed National 5 English
  • Want to develop your language and communication skills to help you in later life and work
