In Secondary English, all S1, S2 and S3 pupils continue working within the Broad General Education (BGE) phase of their learning which began in Primary school.

At KHS, we offer a range of learning experiences for our junior English pupils to help develop core-literacy skills in the following areas: Reading, Writing, Listening and Talking.

Pupils are assessed in line with the Literacy and English Benchmarks. Each year, pupils are encouraged to build on previously learnt skills in preparation for the senior phase of their education, as well as life beyond school as successful learners, confident individuals, responsible citizens and effective contributors.
