Elie is a fantastic community to be surrounded by! The pupils, staff and families are extremely lucky to be offered so much by local businesses, projects and individuals. We are keen to help out the community whenever we can and the children love to have a purpose to work towards.

Elie Watersports

For many years now, the pupils in the upper years have been invited to take part in water-based activities at the local beach with Elie Watersports. This year, the whole school will have the opportunity to take part in a 4-week block of lessons delivered by Angus and Heidi. In previous years lessons have seen the children try their hands at kayaking, paddleboarding, surfing and even windsurfing!

 

Elie Sports Club

Right on our doorstep, we have the Sports Club where we are lucky to experience annual sessions with the resident golf pros. We are always keen to work with the club, whether that is sessions with the experts or using the facilities for tennis lessons, and they are very keen to share their love of sport with the children.

All pupils are members of the Sports Club, funded by our kind PTA, which means they can access the facilities outside of school hours too.
