School Uniform

We are very proud of our school and wear our school uniform with pride.  Our school uniform is:

  • grey/black trousers
  • grey/black skirt/pinafore
  • yellow or green checked dress
  • yellow or white polo t-shirt or white shirt
  • school tie
  • green sweatshirt
  • indoor shoes (left in school)

We encourage pupils to wear a top with the school logo or a school badge which can both be purchased at the school office.

For health and safety reasons pupils are required to wear a gym kit when participating in physical activities. We ask pupils to leave their gym kit in school as although pupils have set PE days, which parents are informed of, other physical activities can be undertaken on other days forwhich their gym kit is required.

An indoor gym kit is:

  • a t-shirt
  • a pair of shorts
  • a pair of gym shoes (can be indoor shoes if appropriate)
  • no football strips

An outdoor gym kit is:

  • school uniform (poloshirt and sweatshirt) on top half
  • tracksuit bottoms
  • outdoor trainers
  • no football strips

No jewellery is allowed to be worn during physical activities. If your child has recently had their ears pierced then we ask you to provide micro-pore to cover the earrings for the six weeks until the earrings can be removed.

Notes

  1. Jeans and denim jackets and/or T-shirts are not suitable during the school day.
  2. Shoes should be ‘sensible’. For reasons of safety they should have flat heels. It is also important for health and safety reasons that shoes worn outdoors must not be worn in the gymnasium. A student who wears “trainers” outdoors must have a pair of gym shoes for Physical Education.
  3. No student should be sent to school wearing clothes which are unacceptable in respect of hygiene and/or decay.
