Literacy

In Literacy, we are enjoying our class novel The Boy Who Grew Dragons by Andy Shepherd. The children are developing reading skills through shared reading and discussion.

In writing, we are focusing on imaginative writing, using the story to inspire creative ideas, descriptions, and storytelling.

Numeracy

In Numeracy, we will be learning about fractions and measure. Children will explore fractions by finding, sharing, and comparing parts of a whole. Children will develop their understanding of length, volume, and weight through practical activities, measuring, comparing, and problem‑solving in real-life contexts.

IDL

Pupils have chosen to learn about plants and how living things grow, exploring this topic through investigation and discussion. We look forward to growing our own plants and flowers in the classroom as part of our learning.
