FDAMH Young Person’s Mental Wellbeing Service

 

The Falkirk District Association for Mental Health (FDAMH) Young Person’s Mental Wellbeing Service supports those in Falkirk aged 13-24 (26 if care experienced) experiencing reduced emotional wellbeing.

This confidential, non-judgemental, and empathetic service will provide  practical and emotional support to young people, promoting mental wellbeing and increasing confidence and self-esteem.

Following a comprehensive assessment, FDAMH will work closely with individuals to provide a tailored service to suit individual needs.

Support is available during daytime and the early evenings, and can be provided online, face-to-face or by phone. The service provides support for various  factors such as:

  • Anxiety
  • Attachment
  • Bereavement support
  • Depression (mild to moderate)
  • Emotional and behavioural difficulties associated with neurodevelopmental disorders
  • Gender identity
  • Repetitive behaviours
  • Self-harm
  • Substance use
  • Trauma
