Aberlour Primary Years Outreach Service
The Primary Years Outreach Service offers a free phone support line and accessible outreach support for children aged 5-12 and their families. The support provided is relationship-based and child-centred, and is available 8am-7pm everyday- including weekends.

What supports/interventions will this service offer?
Support is provided by skilled Child and Family Workers through phone and outreach visits. To develop a strong relationship, support will be provided by consistent workers where possible. The types of support offered include:
- Flexible Mental Wellbeing and Child Development Programmes, personalised to family needs
- 1:1 counselling with parents and children
- Seasons for Growth: support for children who have experienced loss/bereavement
- Volunteer befrienders for children and families
- Signposting to relevant organisations where appropriate
- Individual outreach work with families:
- With children- activities that build confidence and strategies for managing feelings of anxiety and stress
- With parents: understanding child development such as the value of attachment, nurture and play, and support for managing their own mental health and wellbeing
