Today P6 and P7 went to the cinema to see Narnia: Voyage of Dawn Treader. Read our comments to see how much we enjoyed it!

Today, the school had a day full of sports. Primary 4 took part in tennis, taekwondo and boccia, which is a sport from the Paralympics. At taekwondo we got a chance punch and kick the pads, but the instructor tried to get us back, so we had to run away fast! In boccia, we have to fling a heavy ball to try and hit the white jack ball. At tennis, we got to play tennis with a professional tennis player, who had beaten Andy Murray (a long time ago!).

For our science topic we are learing about Electricity.We all made electricity circuits.Firts we Drew them in our science book then the week after that we made them.We got wires,Motor,Switch,light bulb,buzzer and a battery to make them.We found out different ways to make the circuits and we all enjoyed making them.

For our topic this year we are learning about world war two and we have already started the exciting parts of it.We have started building an anderson shelter it’s going to look great when its finished.We are looking forward to building our own small models at home for one of our research homework.Meanwhile we will be learning about hitler and his army plus all of the neutral and allie countries and there captains

In Science P6 are learning all about ‘The Human Body’. Last week we were learning about different organs in the body – we learned about the heart, lungs, kidneys, brain and skin. We worked in our co-operative learning groups to create posters about the organs.

P5Mac have been learning about biodiversity. We were given a homework task to make our own mini garden. We asked classes to come and see our mini gardens. We also wrote instructions telling people how we made our gardens.

This term we are learning about World War 2.  We have learnt about the war leaders, evacuations, which countries took part and which were neutral.  We all researched an important figure from World War 2.

In science we are covering electricity. This week are going to build electrical circuits, last week we drew them in our books.

We created the letters for B I O D I V E R S I T Y out of objects in the playground…

and turned them into this video.
