Term 4 Sports Schedule
- Cuach na Cloinne Football competition (GM4-7)
- 17th April – Session 1 Swimming (P4 & P5)
- 24th April – Session 2 Swimming (P4 & P5)
- 28th April – Bikeability in Stornoway (P6)
- 8th May – Session 3 Swimming (P4 & P5)
- 14th May – Fun 4’s football festival (P1 & P2)
- 15th May – Session 4 Swimming (P4 & P5)
- 22nd May – Session 5 Swimming (P4 & P5)
- 29th May – Session 6 Swimming (p4 & P5)
- 29th May – Sports day! (10am)
GL 1-4 (Gaelic Learners 1-4)
This class is taught by Mrs Mackay & Ms Smith who share the week. Mrs Mackay works Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday morning, while Ms Smith takes the class for Wednesday afternoon, Thursday & Friday.
GL 5-7(Gaelic Learners 5-7)
GL 5-7 are taught by Ms Burbage.
GM 1-3 (Gaelic Medium 1-3)
Ms G Maclean & Mrs K Macleod currently teach the GM 1-3 class.

Curriculum for Excellence: our school follows the national Curriculum for Excellence. The curriculum has 8 areas :

- Literacy (incl Gaelic, English and French)

After school Clubs
Sgoil Shiaboist offered a wide range of afterschool clubs from January – March 2026 which included:
- Basketball
- Football
- Unihoc
- Board games & Lego
- Multisports
- Baking/Cooking
- Badminton
- Pool & table tennis
- Art
The Clubs were open to all children from P1 – P7.

Parent Council meetings
The next Parent Council meeting is “In-person” on Monday 13th May 2024 in Shawbost School at 7pm. All parents & carers are encouraged to attend.
