There has been much excitement in the nursery this month!

We have been on a train trip to Glasgow to see the sights and sounds of the city at Christmas time. We enjoyed Hopscotch Theatre Company’s pantomime and performed our own little Nativity in front of an audience. A special visitor is expected at our Christmas party tomorrow and the afternoon children will attend the church service on Friday.

Our mud-kitchen is becoming well established (“It’s just like Masterchef!” commented Christopher) and thank you to all parents who have donated equipment 

We have been busy making cards and decorations and learning all about why we celebrate Christmas. We have had fun playing interactive whiteboard games on the computer including counting presents and matching them to the correct number and finding numbers on the advent calendar.

We look forward to seeing you in the New Year and hearing all about how the children spent their holiday.
