Autumn has arrived in the nursery class. We have been exploring our environment using our senses. Ella: “I found stones in the feely box and they were hard if you tapped them you could make music.” Eva used her observation skills to paint a beautiful picture in the nursery garden. “We saw a rainbow. Sun and rain makes a rainbow.”

In our nursery forest Joseph found nuts. “Squirrels eat them. They are hard circles. They fall down and the animals eat them.” Christopher found a pine cone. “It was spiky and opened up when the sun came out. The wind made them fall down.”

We are looking forward to learning about customs and festivals during October and November.
