Millport Trip – Tuesday 2 April 2019
We have organised our annual trip to Millport this year on Tuesday 2 April 2019.
The intention is to have a relaxing day, cycling round the island and then giving pupils the chance to relax and enjoy the remainder of our day.
The arrangements are as follows:
- 9.20am Leave St Ninian’s High School
- 10.30am Arrive at Largs
- 10.45am Ferry to Millport
- Cycling and Relaxing
- 5.00pm Return to Largs
- 5.15pm Leave Largs
- 6.00pm Arrive at St Ninian’s High School
The cost for each pupil is £15. This covers the cost of transport, hire of a bike and helmet. The hire of a local hall will provide us with a place to enjoy a break/toilet facilities etc.
What to bring:
- Packed lunch / money to buy lunch in one of the local shops or cafés.
- Snacks
- Water
- Appropriate Clothing
- Leggings/shorts
- Warm/windproof top
- Waterproof jacket
- Gloves
- Trainers
- Sunscreen
- Sunglasses
If you would like your son/daughter to take part in the day trip then please complete and return the tear off slip on the letter which can be obtained from the school office to Mr Fuchs no later than Friday 22 March. A consent form will then be issued which must be completed and returned before the trip departs.

S1 Choice Evening – Thursday 28 February, 7pm
A reminder that the S1 Choices Information Evening will take place this Thursday 28 February at 7pm.
Netball Trip
On Friday 22 February a group of S1 pupils travelled to the Emirates Arena to see the Strathclyde Sirens versus the Severn Stars. This was an excellent experience, seeing elite Netball players in action and a great night was had by all.

Fraser MacIntosh 1a1
Well done to Fraser MacIntosh (1a1) who won the Gold Medal for the 200m Breaststroke in the West District Long Course Meet last weekend at Tollcross International Swimming Pool.
He will compete in his first Scottish National Age Group Championship in March. We wish Fraser all the very best of luck!
