Creativity Skills

Creativity Skills are fast rising as the most needed skillset of the 21st Century. You can support and develop your young people’s creativity skills using the Creativity Toybox films – 27 short, fun activities that can be used anywhere and require no preparation. You can even develop your own skills by doing the activities together. The films are light hearted and funny but young people will find them both challenging and engaging. The films help learners to practice and develop their curiosity, open-mindedness, imagination and problem solving skills – all core creativity skills.

Parents / Carers – We Need You!

One of the key strengths of St Ninian’s is offering bespoke career opportunities for our young people.  This includes presenting at the Careers Information Evening, work experience, application advice and interview practice which has proved invaluable to our students.

If you are able to offer any time or opportunites for young people in your field of expertise  then please don’t hesitate to contact us via school email.

Primary 7 Induction Day

Well done to all Primary 7 pupils who attended the induction day on Thursday 17 May.  All had a great day taking part in the ‘Mini School Day’ which consisted of activities from subjects they will be studying in S1.

They also took part in a number of sporting activities.  Thanks to Physical Education Staff, Giffnock Hockey, Pro Judo Glasgow, GHA Rugby and Giffnock Tennis Club for delivering excellent sessions for the pupils.

Finally, pupils met a Pastoral Support Teacher who discussed key information regarding S1.

Overall it was a fantastic day and we look forward to welcoming the pupils permanently in August.
