Monday 15 January 2018.

Martin Luther King, the American Civil rights leader was born on the 15^th of January in 1929 in the United States. We remember this day as he was one of the Christian leaders who opposed the laws and attitude of discrimination and fully committed himself to non violence. He said “Love is the only force capable of transforming an enemy into a friend”.

Let us pray:

Father, may our human family not become separated from you by building barriers of race or colour or religion or class. Inspire us to recognise that we are all made in your image and likeness so that we may grow in appreciation of all people and grow in pride of who we are. Amen.

The Worship Group starts again on Thursday 11th Jan. It is on from 3.40-4.40, all pupils are most welcome to join us.

St Cadoc’s Pro Life Group will host Rose Docherty at their next meeting at 7.30pm on Sunday 14 January 2018. Rose has been involved in Pro Life Work for over thirty years and  remains at the forefront of pro life initiatives. Currently she is an organiser of the ’40 Days of Life Prayer Vigil’ which takes place at the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital in Glasgow. This will be an informative and inspiring meeting.

Let us give thanks today for the gift of faith. If we really believe in God we are blessed as we know there is always someone who loves us.

“Lord you examine me and know me, you know if I am standing or sitting, you read my thoughts from far away whether I walk or lie down you are watching you know every detail of my conduct.”

Let us always remember the love that God has for each and every one of us. He will always listen to what we have to say.
