Morrison Construction

Primary 4a had a visit from Morrison Construction today. They were set a Lego challenge to build the highest tower in the least amount of time with the least amount of bricks. The challenge proved harder than they expected with the teams having to communicate their ideas effectively. This gave the pupils another opportunity to explore the STEM skills required for possible future careers.

“I didn’t think I would enjoy this but I actually did.” Mia

”We used teamwork and problem solving skills. We also had to measure our towers.” Adam

”I enjoyed the challenge because we got to use Lego and we had to use our measuring skills.” Iniyah

”It was very challenging because we needed to work together to make the most money by building the tallest tower.” Matthew.
